About Interstellar

Interstellar competes in the F1 in Schools competition to try and push the limits of what F1 in Schools teams can do. Our team has now been formally invited to attend the 2017 World competition in Malaysia. Team Interstellar also wants to make Brentwood proud and help the F1 in schools legacy alive.
Brentwood's 2015 team Noctis made it to the World held in Singapore and competed very well and the 2016 Brentwood team Ventus Racing were the PA Grand Champions and came 6th at the National Level. Hopefully Interstellar will have a successful F1 in schools career like its predecessors!

Our History

Our Team began work back in the summer of 2016, meeting often and creating all team logos, titles, and portfolio book layouts before the school year even began. We then went on to prepare for the New York Super Regional where our team ended up winning Grand Champions. On top of placing first we went on to win four special awards for Best Engineered Car, Fastest Car, Team Identity, and Fundraising + Sponsorship.
After our teams amazing run at the New York Super regional we were invited to represent the east coast at the National competition in Austin, Texas. After having the fastest car in the entire USA and competing for 3 days, Interstellar became one of three teams invited to represent the USA in the 2017 World Finals in Malaysia.

Our Commitment

Since being invited, the team has been working around the clock to secure the funds needed to compete in this world event. The costs of registration, materials and travel for the team of 6 plus 2 teachers an estimate $30,000.
Our team has also been working to make sure all of our materials are world worthy and we want to represent the USA at worlds the best we can. Our team is committed to working all summer, but we need your help! To sponsor us, go to our sponsorship tab. To donate visit our GoFundMe at the button below.
